Everyone loves to grow tomatoes! I will take the audience on a journey that starts with a bit of history, some stories and great varieties, then progress through ways to succeed in the challenging climate of the Sandhills area of North Carolina. We will talk methods and culture, troubleshooting and diseases, and leave plenty of time for questions.

I will have copies of my books - Epic Tomatoes and Growing Vegetables in Strawbales - for purchase (20.00 and 10.00, respectively, signed as you wish - cash, check or credit card will be fine). There will be some informational handouts and packets of seeds for all. If all goes well, there may be some seedlings available to purchase as well (it all depends upon the weather that occurs between seed starting time and the event).
