This will be such fun - a debut of a new talk, focused upon our horticultural history in the US since the mid 1800s, taking a look back on what our great grandparents, grandparents, and parents may have grown - and what our gardening options are today….including what old, timeless varieties are still around. If all goes well, we will have a small tomato tasting as well (depends upon what my garden is producing at the time!).
There will be an opportunity to purchase my books, Epic Tomatoes, and Growing Vegetables in Straw Bales, as well. (both Storey publishing - cash, check or credit - 20 and 10 dollars respectively).
